Way's to use it-challenge for 1/29/09

The challenge for today was alcohol. Yes we use it to make cards as well as an occasional "Nip"..OK may just some of us for sure.

In both of the following cards I created the background paper with a technique called POLISHED STONE
I tried to make the colors very subtle.

Stamp Set: Backwoods-New Release from Stampin' Up!©
Sincere Salutations

Close to cocoa, brocade blue, baja breeze, mellow moss, pacific point, encore silver, and...Copic markers were used to color the fish

Papers: Garden Green, mellow moss, white

Accessories: Versamark with gold Embossing powder, Ribbon

Technique: Polished stone and to create the brown around the elk I just dragged the paper over the ink pad in specfic directions
