Beate's Weekend Challenge

This is a card that was made for Beate's Weekend Challenge. I used a sewing machine without thread to pierce all the tiny holes. This was a lot of fun to make and I do like how it turned out

The challenge today was to use scraps to make a small mini card. The first one I made I forgot to make it small so here is the second one.

This is the one I goofed up. It is the standard size. I did use a lot of scrap piece to make the background on this one. Its too big, but it was fun to do.
Thursday was to use the computer to make a card. I chose a photo that my SIL sent me and in return made a card that I am sending to her.
For the second card, I decided to use the computer to find a new color combo that I had not previously tried. This is really rust and wild wasabi. I used rub-ons for the main images.

These were made for the color challenge of the week.... Purely Pomegranate, wild wasabi, and so saffron

Beate's Weekend Challenge

Here are the two cards that I made for Beate's weekend sketch challenge

Challenge Cards

Fridays Limited Supply Challenge was to use one flower only for a card. I thought this was a lovely stamp. I had fun with the stickles for sparkle.

The card I chose to make was for the sketch challenge is one that I made for my Mothers birthday which is coming up on the 13th.
The Ways to use it challenge was its in a note..It was to be related to a song. I had just received this new rose stamp...you have it "yellow rose of Texas was stuck in my head for all day.
The Inspirational challenge was a beautiful blue bedroom. I'm not sure how I got there, but night time...dark...stars..if you follow closely you can get there too!!

Tuesday, February 26, 2008

The challenge for today was to use River rock, whisper white and basic black to create cards.
The first on is done using the new cuttlebug die cut and background folder. I love the look of the embossed petals.

This one is a stamp from Holly Berry house called large rose. I used a blender pen working the color from the outer edge into the middle. I then added some stickles for a bit of sparkle.
The last one in this set is also from Holly Berry House called Summer Breeze. Again I just used a blender pen to pick up a little color and add it to the medallion.
