I really loved the card that Brandi made here: http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/ga...;ppuser=148467

So heres the whole story. I went looking for serene spring first, then I spilled and entire 20oz cup of coffee on my carpeted floor, in the punch box, and all over the outside of about 40 sets of stamps....clean up time.

Looked for serene spring..still couldnt find it. Found soft summer instead..that works,

So I changed the image, changed the colors, changed the layout just a bit.

I kept the scallops with holes. Now I dont have a punch for that so I paper pierced all the scallops one by one. I made a mistake when punching the scallops to start with...really liked the look so I added more.

Brandi's card base is gray so I used 3 shade of light gray copics for the shadows of the dogwood.

copic colors used:
Flowers-R00-RV00-RV10-RV02-Y02
Leaves-G24-YG23

Copic Storage Solution

O M G ----I just received these wonderful shelves from studio 3 solutions They are wonderful...they arrived in perfect condition, wraped in bubble wrap, paper and they carefully packed into the box with additional packing paper. If you have a craft room in a multi-million dollar home or in a spot in the garage...these are perfect..They are sturdy, very well made and in my opinion quite reasonable at @16.95 each.... Thank you Tami

A Productive Sunday

I was running low on birthday cards so I made up this one, The image stamp is from TAC and the text is from Stampin Up. The textured background is one that I just received from cuddlebug
_____________________________________________________________

My former foster daughter ( I call her mine) called and wanted me to make her wedding invites. This is just a prototype for her to check, therefore it is made on inexpensive lighter weight cardstock. The word love is embossed with red embossing powder. Hope she will like it

Another casing card..please see my site on Splitcoaststampers for all of the details:

Daffodil Dreams

Stamps: Abundant Hope, hugs & wishes
Paper: choc chi[, DSP, white, kiwi kiss
Ink: momento rich cocoa, momento black
Accessories: punch, ribbon, paper piercer

Every year it would be a race to see which would come first....the daffodils or my moms birthday (march 13) well this year the daffys would have won.

I chose this card of Veras to CASE; http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/ga...mp;ppuser=5417

I kept the same basic color scheme, and the same flower

I changed the sentiment to a birthday, rounded the corners, used designer paper, and added a fence

Is it Spring yet

Stamps: Magnolia
Paper: pretty in pink, rich razzleberry, white
Ink: momento black,
Accessories: flowers, brads, labels #10 nesties

Cupcake for my doll

I made this using a new folder from sizzix. I love the background and it is very user friendly as well as being able to be used for multiple occasions.

I stamped the image at a slight angle then when I mounted it to the card made her appear straight (well somewhat). I used copic markers and the airbrush system for colors and a punch for the decorative sides. The sentiment was stamped in veramark and embossed with white emboss powder,

Tulips for my friend

Stamps: Tilda With Tulips
Paper: pimpkin pie, white, choc chip
Ink: momento black
Accessories: punches, nesties

I love yellows are oranges well all fall colors. I wanted to make it like springtime as today we are suppose to get to 60*. Sorry all you folks still in the cold.

I miss my brother

When I went to visit my brother in New Zealand this last August he had built me this wonderful bench on top of his hill. He also built the steps for me to use ans he knew that I had a tough time climbing hillsides. You cant see it in this picture but looking one way you could see the Pacific ocean and looking the opposite way you were looking right up the Pikowai valley. This area is located south of Auckland about 4 hours and right in the Bay of Plenty..
This morning I opened a lovely envelope from Linda Palmer with this special Tilda image. I airbrushed the scene using just a torn piece of paper to create the land and scalloped circle punch to create the sky....

I miss my brother!!! I want to go again...

Since moving to our place last summer..I have so enjoyed the hummingbirds. The little old lady that lives just behind us keeps feeders up year round and the hummers are here all the time.

I used nothing but punches for the mountings.

Stamps: spring song, small sayings
Paper: rose red, white
Ink: momento black
Accessories: punches, flowers, and bling
I was given the challenge of using something other than nesties for creating shapes. I found my old mega punches and used those for the scalloped ovals.
