I miss my brother

When I went to visit my brother in New Zealand this last August he had built me this wonderful bench on top of his hill. He also built the steps for me to use ans he knew that I had a tough time climbing hillsides. You cant see it in this picture but looking one way you could see the Pacific ocean and looking the opposite way you were looking right up the Pikowai valley. This area is located south of Auckland about 4 hours and right in the Bay of Plenty..
This morning I opened a lovely envelope from Linda Palmer with this special Tilda image. I airbrushed the scene using just a torn piece of paper to create the land and scalloped circle punch to create the sky....

I miss my brother!!! I want to go again...

I just got a few new Magnolia stamps today and thought I would ink up this one. These are just two different samples of this wonderful cute dog. Since we have a new puppy, I decided this is what she would be doing if she could....handing me a flower and saying...Mommy Im so sorry I pooped in the House again

Since moving to our place last summer..I have so enjoyed the hummingbirds. The little old lady that lives just behind us keeps feeders up year round and the hummers are here all the time.

I used nothing but punches for the mountings.

Paper: rose red, white
Ink: momento black
Accessories: punches, flowers, and bling
I was given the challenge of using something other than nesties for creating shapes. I found my old mega punches and used those for the scalloped ovals.

Today the challenge was to use oranges. It is a color most people just dont use a whole lot.

Well I dug in the copic box and found all of the Oranges and orangish colors that I had and went from there. In the beginning I almost threw it away, but toward the end, I decided that I did rather like it.

Kinda to old den with the leather chair, sit back and have a drink sorta place. Thanks for stopping in..

Here are the supplies used:
