<span style="font-size: 18px;"><span style="font-family: caudex;">We
started out sending an extra couple of sandwiches to work with my
husband. He works in downtown Portland near the Greyhound station. Soon
he was taking 5-6 extra sandwiches, then I started making soups, beans,
cakes, ect for him to share with the folks in the area.</span></span></div>

<span style="font-family: caudex;"><span style="font-size: 18px;">As time has progress, we started cooking pasta style meals. It was something for them to eat as to not go to bed hungry.</span></span></div>

<br />
2012 started out kinda crazy as we were trying to get our house sold in Canby...Mission accomplished.<br />
<br />
We signed final papers on our Canby home and at the same time located our new home in Milwaukie. Everything was what we wanted then came the inspection, which revealed dry rot, blocked vents, no sewer clean out and multiple other small projects..Fast forward the previous owner agreed to have everything fixed..(YEAH). We finally were able to move in in mid March. I have a nice stamp room/office that I just love. The house is totally wonderful and we are spending more time just relaxing on the weekends as we enjoy just being home.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-ILdMSjwl5BE/UHsRAdcnq0I/AAAAAAAAB_I/iLqapO5Xq0s/s1600/rsz_dscn0790_copy.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-ILdMSjwl5BE/UHsRAdcnq0I/AAAAAAAAB_I/iLqapO5Xq0s/s320/rsz_dscn0790_copy.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
Hubby got a new truck in April and he just loves it. It is all decked out in his Marine Corp stuff and is really quite nice.<br />
<br />
I have a new car that I got for my birthday in June...I finally have a CHARGER. I have wanted one for years but just stuck with Fords. I now own a HEMI 5.7 and it rumbles and rocks.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-Qj5703uQAFg/UHsR2HXHFcI/AAAAAAAAB_Q/FZVzx8H0qGc/s1600/my+car.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="211" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-Qj5703uQAFg/UHsR2HXHFcI/AAAAAAAAB_Q/FZVzx8H0qGc/s320/my+car.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
I have finally started making cards again and will start posting later.<br />
Health wise we are both good<br />

I counted the stitches and came up with about 70-75. The spot that was on the nose was about the size of a pencil eraser....but once they started to cut away the cancer area, they found it was much more involved than just the small spot on the nose. The final hole was about the size of between a quarter and a half dollar so they had to excise a much larger area and create a flap, move tissue around to fill in the hole....thus the need for cutting and stitches all the way to the mouth.Sumtoyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16859569083981169334noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3587332345595795039.post-53961973210822503122011-09-17T16:58:00.001-07:002011-09-17T17:00:22.324-07:00Day 2 post surgery<a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-_-Xz9vQwIQQ/TnU0Qn-_d4I/AAAAAAAAB2w/pEE3Ea7CrlE/s1600/IMG_0616.JPG"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 300px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-_-Xz9vQwIQQ/TnU0Qn-_d4I/AAAAAAAAB2w/pEE3Ea7CrlE/s400/IMG_0616.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5653482367449266050" border="0" /></a>Lots of pain today...not feeling well at all. <br /> If I had to choose a view to look at for the rest of my life it would be watching the ocean. It has the most calming effect on me. I love to watch the wave, the seagulls, and people walking on the beach. Children playing with parents, dogs playing with frisbies, kids picking up shells with wide-eyed curiosity. Family bonding time..the beach holds such special memories for me...growing up it was always a destination for at least one week of family vacation. Fun times and special warm fuzzy feelings...yep the ocean would be my forever view.

I took this picture of her. She is almost 2 and weighs in at 13 pounds. Her name is Turbo (she never stays still).<br /><br />When : July 31st<br /><br />It's Mutt's Day. Mutts deserve their day in the spotlight, as much as a pure breed. If you own a mutt, or you are a mutt (reading this), then you know this day is for you.<br /><br />By definition a mutt, sometimes called a "Halfbreed", is a dog that is of mixed breed. They come from two to several breeds. Purebred owners, and sometimes the public in general, view them as lesser in many ways. Mutt owners know better. They value the diversity and uniqueness of their mutts. Sure, a mutt doesn't carry the expensive price tag that a purebred with papers has on its head. To the mutt owner, however, the mutt is invaluable. In addition, mutts don't walk around needing to prove anything. You won't see them strutting around any dog shows trying to prove they are the best.<br /><br />To all mutts and and mutt owners, we hope you thoroughly enjoy Mutt's Day. Spend the day relaxing and doing all the things you and your dog like to do. Do so with both of your chins held high. For your mutt is worth a million bucks!Sumtoyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16859569083981169334noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3587332345595795039.post-30704556652278954962011-07-11T16:58:00.000-07:002011-07-11T17:00:18.921-07:00<a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-r19spwmxtks/ThuOereSiZI/AAAAAAAABzA/m39jox2ZIPI/s1600/IMG_0561.JPG"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 314px; height: 400px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-r19spwmxtks/ThuOereSiZI/AAAAAAAABzA/m39jox2ZIPI/s400/IMG_0561.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5628248817046555026" border="0" /></a><table class="tborder" align="center" border="0" cellpadding="6" cellspacing="1" width="90%"><tbody id="collapseobj_photoinfo"><tr><td class="alt1" align="left"><span class="smallfont"><b>Stamps:</b> Fabulous Florets </span></td> </tr> <tr> <td class="alt1" align="left"> <span class="smallfont"><b>Paper:</b> white, lucky limeade, pretty in pink, rose red </span></td> </tr> <tr> <td class="alt1" align="left"> <span class="smallfont"><b>Ink:</b> momento black </span></td> </tr> <tr> <td class="alt1" align="left"> <span class="smallfont"><b>Accessories:</b> copic markeres, sewing machine, ribbon, nesties, cuddlebug, dotted swiss embossing folder, </span></td></tr></tbody></table>Sumtoyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16859569083981169334noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3587332345595795039.post-83417125844643508442011-06-28T01:26:00.000-07:002011-06-28T01:28:57.054-07:00<a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-wOzdw3xRlU8/TgmQfJhyg6I/AAAAAAAABy4/Aze8kEA91U0/s1600/IMG_0559.JPG"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 310px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-wOzdw3xRlU8/TgmQfJhyg6I/AAAAAAAABy4/Aze8kEA91U0/s400/IMG_0559.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5623184474556760994" border="0" /></a><br /><br /><br /><br /> I have a dear friend who is having her 63rd birthday this next week.
